Life with MS impacts everyone in the family.

Individualized, age-appropriate education and support are available for every member of the family. Such support may include the following:

  • Family meetings at home
  • Counseling for parents
  • Counseling for children
  • In-home occupational and physical therapy assessments to increase safety and independence
  • Assistance in locating other community resources
  • The Children's Fund, which provides financial assistance for children's activities
  • Kidventure, a recreation and education program for children, ages 7-17, who have a parent with MS
  • Friendly Visitors, a program that matches volunteers with persons with MS who live in nursing homes.
  • Keep S'myelin, a newsletter designed specifically for kids and teens who have a parent or relative with MS.
  • Teen InsideMS Online, a quarterly online magazine written by and for teens.
