OJM provides services designed to support such individuals in their efforts to remain employed or in their job search. The objective of OJM is to enable people with disabilities to take control of their lives and make personal and career decisions based on accurate information.
Career & Individual Counseling
Counseling is available and may involve issues of career choice, career change, work retention, or disability retirement. Other issues may include coping with a chronic illness and the impact of disability on family, work, and social relationships.
Job Retention
OJM provides information through educational groups and individual guidance. This information covers the following:
- The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
- Job accommodations
- Disclosure in the workplace
- Educating supervisors and co-workers about adult-onset physical disability
- Career enhancement

Using educational groups and individual guidance, OJM addresses the following topics:

- Utilizing OJM's job bank of private industry and government openings
