Each year over two hundred area corporations and small businesses join the fight against MS!
 | | Freddie Mac employees walk together. |
Uniting businesses, internal sectors and employees for a common cause through team participation not only creates community visibility but also provides employees with a fun, meaningful, social outing at little or no cost. Teams links the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with companies and organizations through local, regional and national involvement in community events.
 |
Employees whose companies support social issues are 40% more likely to say they are proud of their company's values and nearly 25% more likely to be loyal to their employers than those whose companies do not have such programs.

Throughout the year, the National MS Society has a wide variety of opportunities for businesses to make a difference, and to increase their exposure to the community. Some of these opportunities are listed below - take a look and see who's already involved!
Benefits of Starting a Corporate Team:
1. Teamwork and Team Building
Employees will join forces and work together to set goals, develop creative ways to achieve them and put their ideas into action. The team captain or co-captains will have opportunities to develop and showcase their leadership skills.
2. Corporate Pride and Employee Retention
The pride employees have in their organization will only grow after planning and participating in one of our event, proudly wearing their corporate logo on their shirts or hats. They will look forward to building on their success year after year, and developing their corporate team's identity.
3. Community Involvement
The National MS Society supports more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, provides more professional education programs and furthers more MS advocacy, efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Also, the National MS Society meets the standards of ALL major agencies that rate the fiscal responsibility of non-profit groups. Publicity linking your company name with our will help build a positive corporate imagine and develop strong community relationships.
